Dormant abilities are traits that can turn a personality into true gold when properly activated and cultivated. These unique gifts or treasures do not always float on the surface and are often times dormant. Nature, just like us, also holds many crystals that are covered under deep layers of dirt. The function of dirt is one of pressure and deceive. We also need to be challenged and to put under stress in order to blossom through our wounds. Besides that, the dirt also represents our self-deluded believes of who we think we are. It would not be worth fighting for if there wasn’t this challenge of deceive and pressure.

So in our quest for self-discovery one must be willing enough to dive deep into his or her unconscious realm of chaos. The crystals can be something like psychic power, public speaking, high creativity, intuitive insight or peace of mind. The seeker in all of us does not know what the ultimate treasure will be. Therefore, it is highly important the person has an intrinsic drive to go on the path of self-healing and self-transformation. Without it you will lack patience, persistence, courage and discipline to remove the layers of dirt so that your crystal will be seen.

There are certain disciplines you can use in order to dive into your unconscious and to find your own gold. All forms of body meditation will do the trick if it suits you. I won’t go further into that right now. The idea is that the crystals are not for your benefit only. The greater purpose of the struggle is actually to share your gift with others,so that they can become their own light beacon for others to see. This sense of compassion can actually motivate you even more to transcend your limitations in life. Moving from the ‘I’ to the ‘we’ will then give you a greater sense of purpose.

I will come back with more on this topic these upcoming blogs.

Cheers.
